Play.com Online Shop Review

Here's a review on the online store Play.com.

Although I loved The Book Depository, I was forced to find another website for books, because TBD (The Book Depository) stopped shipping to Denmark.
So for the time being, I have yet to discover any online book shops that can beat TBD, but I have found one that runs on similar principles.

I gotta be honest though, I have never bought anything but DVD's and books from them. But their prices are fairly cheap, cheaper than e.g. Saxo in Denmark.

Website: Play
Sells: Books, CD's, DVD's, electronics and they even sell clothes as well!
Price: Fairly cheap, at least if you compare to Denmark and also, if you compare to Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.com, sometimes they're even cheaper than TBD.
Quality: Super, it's the originals, so it's like any other book, CD, DVD you buy in a retail store.
Shipping: Free shipping! - The best of it all, although not the quickest shipping ever, but it's free.
VAT/Taxes: In some countries you will have to pay VAT/taxes for the products you buy. The company is based in Jersey UK, which is unfortunately not a part of the EU free trade deal, so I (currently residing in Denmark) will have to pay VAT if I buy for more than DKK 80 (last time I checked, the limit might have changed since then).

Further comments:
If you live outside UK, they don't necessarily ship all their products to your country. E.g. clothes is not shipped outside UK.
For books and most DVD's and CD's I would recommend this site, but as I haven't compared the prices on their electronics for instance with other website, I can't tell for sure that they offer the lowest prices.

Conclusion: 7 out of 10 stars, slow but free shipping, fairly low prices, shipped from Jersey (annoys me A LOT!), my advice keep it in mind when you want to buy the products mentioned above, but don't rule out other websites.

As some of you might have noticed, I have not updated for a while. That is because I am experiencing some difficulties with my internet. Due to some construction work this summer, my power supply was down and it burned down my internet.

So for the time being, I will not be updating (I'm writing from work right now).

Meanwhile, do enjoy the Holidays, and I will be back as soon as I get my internet fixed!

FEEL UNIQUE Online Shop Review

I received my item from FEEL UNIQUE yesterday!

I'll do a fairly quick review on the shop, as I have only bought from them once.

Website: Feel Unique
Sells: Beauty products, small gifts, make up, perfume
Price: Fairly cheap, at least if you compare to Denmark and also, if you compare to Strawberrynet
Quality: Fine, nothing wrong there. They come in the original box, like when you buy it from a store.
Shipping: Free shipping! - The best of it all, although not the quickest shipping ever, but it's free so that's okay in my opinion.

So I found the online shop randomly, when searching for some beauty products. I was going to by a cleanser from Clarins, which I find is quite expensive in Denmark.
I was instantly attracted by the quite cheap prices. I saved almost 50 % on my item, but that is also due to the UK Pound being low right now.

As mentioned earlier, the shipping is not slow or quick, it took them a little over a week to ship my item to me, which isn't slow, but I've tried something quicker.
You get a free piece of chocolate saying "thanks for shopping at feel unique" and I got a tester from some unknown brand, but overall nothing fancy.

So, all in all, I'd give them 9 out of 10 because the price is good and stuff, but I'm very picky with the shipping. - It's free, which is super great, but it's a bit slow. And there isn't anything special that says "superior" service or anything. So they get 9.

Alright, so I received and e-mail from PopSugar yesterday, that Apple was supposedly having a sale. - They wrote that it's a one day sale only, which means you can only save today!

I'm spending a lot of time on eBay at the moment. - They say it's addictive, it certainly is!

I've just purchased two bracelets and one pair of earrings.
I fell in love with the Somnus Bracelet that I saw in the Taiwanese drama My Lucky Star, so I decided to buy it. I have been watching it since forever, so I finally bought it, and I'm so happy I did, because I can't wait to receive it.

The seller is btw, the sweetest person ever! She's really kind and highly recommended, I also bought my Stairway To Heaven lovers necklace from her.

Visit her store for any jewellery seen on Korean or Taiwanese dramas, or just if you're looking for something nice.

My colleague recommended it to me, and so far I think it's really good! I bought it at The Book Depository for around £7.51 which is really cheap! (Plus, they have free worldwide shipping!)

Then I bought a new cleanser from Clarins.
The Pure Melt Cleaning Gel that I bought for almost half the price of what it retails at in Denmark. I bought it from this new store that I discovered: FEEL UNIQUE (that also offers free worldwide shipping!)
